The Family

Now we are going to learm some new words. This activity helps  you to learn vocabulary about the family. Here you have a video with these words. You can work your listening and then you can play with the crossword puzzle.

    I´ve been having a look at your blog with my kids, whose ages are 4,6,8 and 10, and I can tell you they have learnt a lot. It´s nice because the scene has so many things to comment, apart of the specific words it says... A new range of words for their vocabulary!

    Here not only learn family vocabulary, but also we work the present continuous. In wordsearch activity students have to locate or find vocabulary about family seen in the video above.
    I think that is an interesting activity and intuitive to learn.

    This activity is really good for learning family vocabulary. Moreover, video is a fantastic source in order to get the motivation of our students.
    Crossword is a perfect activity to achieve our students learn this vocabulary. With this activity, students have to pay attention to each word and they have to be sure how are written each word.
    About your blog, in my opinion it is really motivating because it has colors, forms and images can be very attractive for the kids.

    I really liked this activity to practise the family vocabulary both the video for the listening and the crossword for the reading skills. Moreover they learn actions in present continuos in an indirect way.

    I found your video really interesting and easy for the students to understand. As my mates were saying, this is a useful way to revise present continuous and make students learn family vocabulary. Crosswords are also very motivating for students.
